The limes turned yellow so I'm trying to use them up soon. Searched for cocktail recipes and found this sidecar variation. Tasty!
- Juice of half a lime
- 3/4 oz brandy
- 3/4 oz contreau (or triple sec)
- 3/4 oz white rum
In other news... I've been trying to find natural maraschino cherries (colored with beets) that I had before, but haven't been able to find them... So, I picked up some cherries at Trader Joe's that were german... but they turned out to be sour baking cherries and they do NOT work for manhattans. Just an FYI. Nasty!
