Succulents

After pulling up some overgrown groundcover and overzealous succulents that were growing on top of other plants and taking over the yard, there was room for a new plant or two. Most aloe have yellow or orange blossoms. This Aloe tomentosa has fuzzy green blossoms, reminiscent of a kangaroo paw. I had to have it! Meanwhile the front yard plants are alive and kicking including these blooming propeller plants. But what's most exciting is the stick plant (don't know it's real name) that was all stems before moving to the front yard, and now it's growing fast and full of leaves! This was a cutting from a friends yard taken a few years ago, and it didn't look like much until now.
