User error?

I don't think I've ever had this happen before. It's a little embarassing to talk about, but I grabbed it and pulled and nothing happened. I tried again and broke it. After some finessing, finally it came for me... And no wonder I was having issues, it's curved! It's also white, from a seed packet called rainbow carrots. Much juicier and yummier than the fat round ball carrots (which I learned this winter that I don't like). Also sharing a crazy roundball that was hollow in the center! Must have let it grow too long; never seen anything like the cavern inside this little one.
