Spring(ish) time

In San Diego, February is kinda like spring. There has been enough rain for weeds, the weather is in the 60's, the ladybugs have come back to procreate, and all the plants are growing like crazy. Everything going on in my yard basically makes sense, except for the one anomaly - the blackberry flower (that should not be happening until May). This evening's snapshots include: first asparagus stalks, the freak blackberry blossom, pink jasmine blossoms which will open in a few weeks, and the first peach blossoms. Peach blossoms are the most beautiful thing in my garden. I grow food, not for pretty things, but the peach trees win the prize for being both. Perfect romantic setting for February.
