Melons and lemons

The cantaloupes are the size of lemons. The lemons are the size of my thumb. Really can't wait for the watermelons (which are just a twinkle in the vine's eye right now). Everything will be bigger in a few months (except my thumb, hopefully).

    I am envious of your cantaloupes! ALL of mine have turned yellowish/tan, developed brown spots and got wrinkly. What am I doing wrong?
