Fruit tree lessons

The nectaplum is my saving grace. It's still offering fruit that I'm sometimes pulling off the tree but mostly picking up the super ripe ones after they drop. Which, I learned, does not work for the apricots. I let them hang too long and all 8 of them were rotten. I'll do better next year for sure. And these two plums... the burgundy was ripped off by the puppy a week ago, tasted terrible. The suspected green gage was ripe and yummy. But the rest of the tree are not yet ready. And apparently the cosmos seeds I bought are orange.
