Brought my favorite summer dessert, peach buckle, to a party yesterday and woke up with a sweet tooth today. Made yogurt cake(s) from the recipe I found on smittenkitchen that's adopted from Ina garten. Today's version had no fruit and was flavored with 1/2 tsp almond extract and 1 tsp creme de cassis liquer. Lightly flavored, but good! Also used my standard mods of only 1/4 cup oil and nonfat fage yogurt. First time in the custard pan which cooks so fast that cutting the time to 30 min was still too long.
