More marmalade

Took some of the many, many oranges my brother pulled off his tree and tried to recreate the awesome marmalade from the Rose wine pub... It has a honey flavor, without any honey. Pretty good!

9 oranges, segments no pith (slice off white parts) but keep all juice
Rind of 9 oranges
Juice of one lemon
1 cup chopped raw butternut squash (you could use pumpkin)
1 cup white wine (pinot grigio)
6 cups sugar

Boil rinds in 6 cups water for 30 minutes to soften them.
Reserve 3 cups water from the boiling rinds.
Add to large pot the orange segments and juice from cutting board, boiled rinds, lemon juice, butternut squash, wine and 3 cups reserved rind water with 6 cups sugar and boil it down (took me 60 minutes this time). Can and enjoy!!!!!!!!
