The first plum blossoms are opening, and the multi-peach has fruit the size of grapes. My arms ache from the hours spent finding and knocking off all about 75% of the fruit so they are approximately 3 inches apart. They need air and sunlight to grow up big and strong, plus you get larger fruit and more consistent yields year after year if you do a good job with thinning things out. The nectaplum is as advertised, pretty purple leaves and big pink flowers. Can't wait to see if we get fruit this year, but a little nervous that the bees won't visit it as there's nothing blooming very close to it. The bees spend their days in the backyard with the rest of the plants and trees.
