Spied while walking this morning

Couldn't take my eyes off this huge white bird flying over the San Diego bay. It was so big I thought it might be an owl, but it had a large, hawk-like shape and a black band through the eye. Just found the most a super useful tool at whatbird.com which allows you to narrow your search and am sure what I saw was an Osprey. Just gorgeous. Wasn't able to get a pic, but here's an awesome shot by photographer Graham Owen.
