Ugly

A gardener, I am not. It's the experiment that keeps me going... just want to see what happens. What happens with the planting old seeds. With growing things in winter that are supposed to be in summer. With chopping up a bouquet to see if it will grow roots and become a plant. Some things succeed and some things fail.
Add keeping a beet in the ground for 9 months to the failure list. Good things come to those who wait does NOT apply to beets.
